Permanent visa for skilled workers nominated by an Australian employer, Direct Entry stream.

Verified directly from Home Affairs' own eligibility checklist for the Direct Entry stream. You must be under 45 years old when you lodge (unless exempt), be nominated by an Australian employer for an occupation on the Core Skills Occupation List, have at least 3 years of relevant work experience (unless exempt), have a positive skills assessment before lodging (unless exempt), have at least Competent English, and meet health and character requirements. Cost: from AUD 6,140, as published at time of research. Two other streams — Labour Agreement and Temporary Residence Transition — have different criteria and are not covered by this rule set.
