Real requirements: a personal net worth of at least CAD $600,000 (legally obtained; may be under a spouse/common-law partner's name), a minimum eligible personal investment of at least CAD $200,000 in the business, at least 3 years' experience as a business owner-manager in the last 10 years (or an eligible education credential, not checked here), creation of at least one new full-time job for a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, and Canadian Language Benchmark level 4. Only net worth, investment, and experience are encoded as rules here — job creation and the specific eligible-business criteria (a real, detailed exclusion list, e.g. no bed and breakfasts, pawnbrokers, real estate brokerage) are disclosed but not checked.
