Pathway overview
A pathway to permanent residence for workers with experience in Canada's agriculture and agri-food sector.
Verified directly from IRCC's own eligibility page. Status: closed — the pilot ended May 14, 2025; IRCC continues processing applications accepted before that date. You must have a genuine, full-time, non-seasonal, permanent job offer in an eligible agri-food occupation in Canada outside Quebec (or, if you already reside in Canada, you may substitute a Canadian high school diploma or equivalent educational credential assessment instead — that alternate path isn't checked here), at least 1,560 hours (about 1 year) of cumulative non-seasonal full-time Canadian work experience in an eligible occupation within the past 3 years, and CLB/NCLC 4 in all 4 language abilities, plus proof of settlement funds (no fixed figure published on this page, so not checked here).
