Pathway overview

For non-EU employees seconded to a French group entity while remaining employed by their foreign employer.

Verified via WebSearch, cross-referenced across multiple independent sources: you need to remain employed under a contract with your employer established abroad (not a French contract), belong to the same corporate group as the host business in France, have at least 6 months' prior seniority within the group, hold a senior-management or expert role, and be paid at least the applicable legal and contractual minimums for the role. This is genuinely distinct from the Talent Passport 'Salarié en Mission' route (which requires a French employment contract and only 3 months' seniority) — this checker verifies your own group seniority and assignment structure only, not the specific remuneration minimum, since no confirmed figure distinct from ordinary minimum-wage/sector minimums was found. Valid for the duration of the assignment, up to 4 years — unlike Salarié en Mission, this permit cannot be renewed. As of 1 May 2026, issuance fees are €150 (up to €350 for certain foreign investors), excluding the visa fee.
