For non-EU/EEA investors making a qualifying real-estate, business, or deposit investment in Latvia.

Verified via WebSearch, cross-referenced across multiple independent sources: you need one of three qualifying investments — real estate worth at least €250,000 in Riga (€500,000+ for commercial real estate anywhere in Latvia), a business investment of at least €50,000 in equity capital plus a €10,000 government processing fee, or a €50,000 bank deposit — held for a minimum of 5 years (property cannot be sold within 60 months or the permit is cancelled). You'll also need a qualifying bank-account balance (€26,640 base, +€8,880 for a spouse, +€2,664 per child, disclosed here, not separately modeled). Grants a 5-year residence permit. Processing takes 1-3 months after a complete submission.
