Pathway overview

For recent graduates of a qualifying New Zealand qualification, to work in New Zealand for up to 3 years.

Verified directly from Immigration New Zealand's own page: you must have recently finished studying in New Zealand for a qualifying qualification (a degree level 7 or higher, or a non-degree level 4-7 qualification on INZ's own eligible list, studied full-time for the required duration), have at least NZD $5,000 to pay your living expenses, be in good health, and be of good character. You can only be granted this visa once. A real complication not encoded here: you must apply within a window (3, 6, or 12 months after your student visa expires, depending on your qualification and visa history) that genuinely branches by case — check INZ's own page for your specific deadline.
