Verified directly from GOV.UK: you must be 16 or over, have been offered a place on a course by a licensed student sponsor (evidenced by a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies), have enough money to support yourself and pay for your course (published figures: £1,529 per month in London or £1,171 per month outside London, for up to 9 months — this tool checks a self-declared yes/no rather than the exact monthly figure), and speak, read, write and understand English to at least CEFR level B2 for degree-level courses or B1 below degree level (this tool checks a single self-declared yes/no, not the course-level branch).
